This 6 part series will provide an in-depth discussion about the Post-School Transition to Higher Education and Employment for Students with Visual Impairments. Dr. Karen Wolffe will describe the post-secondary trajectory of students with visual impairments as they move from secondary educational settings into higher education, training, and employment. She will discuss the need for planning and preparation while in secondary settings. Higher education and training, employment, and adult life considerations such as housing, transportation, recreation and leisure; as well as community engagement will all be discussed. |
