This presentation will acquaint NYSCB staff and allied service providers with resources at the library that support information literacy for our patrons. We'll offer a brief overview of Braille and talking book services, demo our upcoming loanable digital Braille displays, introduce our Braille learning materials and Braille study group, and acquaint participants with the wide variety of equipment and workshops we offer to support patrons on their technology journey. We'll also share practices we've found helpful in making online workshops accessible to patrons with print-reading disabilities. |
