 Item/Program Description (method/purpose/expectations for successful completion-such as quiz grade, evaluation, etc.): Blind Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist and Vision Impairment Services team coordinators are expected to demonstrate updated metrics annually to meet the overall blind rehabilitation services national standards for effective evidence-based patient care plans for skill training of all veterans with vision lass and their caregivers.

Description of CE Program/Activity
 Item/Program Description (method/purpose/expectations for successful completion-such as quiz grade, evaluation, etc.): Blind Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist and Vision Impairment Services team coordinators are expected to demonstrate updated metrics annually to meet the overall blind rehabilitation services national standards for effective evidence-based patient care plans for skill training of all veterans with vision lass and their caregivers. Goals of this training event: Participant(s) will be able to: a. Demonstrate assessment and evaluation criteria to determine appropriate technology and solutions for Veterans with vision loss;b.Discuss how to employ the process to prescribe and order vision related technologies;c.Review different programs available to Veterans with vision loss; andd.Demonstrate use of head mounted low vision devices.
