Laura Gierer, TVI from Francis Howell School District will present on the Braille Math Editor in JAWS which now enables braille users in Windows 10 to input their own equations, and in Office 365, edit existing equations in Word documents. We will explore tips and tricks to help Braille users utilize this feature in a an efficient way that is accessible to math teachers. This feature eliminates the wait time for a TVI or transcriber to interline math. Homework and tests/quizzes can be sent to teachers immediately! |
