Missouri s Blind Students Rights to Independence, Training, and Education (BRITE) Act A review of the successful collaboration among constituentsThis month we welcome Kevin Hollinger and Gary Wunder to present on the newly passed Missouri BRITE Act. This session explores the collaborative effort among constituents in Missouri who developed the BRITE Act. The BRITE Act is legislation ensuring all Missouri students with a visual impairment receive instruction in Braille reading and writing, assistive technology, and Orientation and Mobility by a highly qualified, certified professionals including TVI, CATIS & NCATB, and NOMC & COMS. |
