Children with visual impairments often miss specific instruction on specific foundational motor skills. Specific skills like running, batting, kicking, and rolling that are the foundation of many blind sports will be reviewed and demonstrated. Books, videos, tip sheets, and web sites will be shared for all attendees.Lesson Plan Goal: The purpose of this talk is to inform the audience on the importance of fundamental motor skills and provide tips and strategies for teaching FMS to children with visual impairments.
