Description of CE Program/Activity
 This course is for teachers working with students with disabilities in K-12 educational settings. The course is a continuation of Using Accessible Media in the Classroom. It will explore the benefits for accessible media for all students. Participants will learn how to use the advanced teaching features offered by the DCMP system: student accounts, clips, and lessons.A prerequisite is successfully completion of one of the QuickClasses: Using Accessible Media in the Classroom with Students Who Are Blind and Visually Impaired or Using Accessible Media in the Classroom With Students Who Are Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Or completion of both online modules Access: Post-Production/Offline Captioning Module and Access: Description Module (Teacher/Parent Version).This class is four weeks of asynchronous, online training. Choose your preferred time during the week to work online and meet weekly deadlines. Expect to spend approximately five hours per week completing the required work. When you successfully complete the class, you will receive a certificate for 20 continuing education credits. Free of charge and fully accessible. The class is preapproved for RID and ACVREP credit. It is intended for teachers.
