Technology tools alone are not enough to create an educational environment in which all learners can develop the skills they need to become independent, empowered learners. While educational, assistive and everyday technologies can support independence and the achievement of learning outcomes, however the application of strategies that embed technology and learner choice is critical to the successful implementation of technology. This professional learning experience will provide assistive technology providers strategies and tools to support reading, writing, math, social-emotional learning, and professional learning and provide opportunities to develop a range of products to use and provide to others after the professional development sessions have concluded. |
