Description of CE Program/Activity
 Description: The webinar will garner live feedback from users of Picture Maker: Wheatley Tactile Diagramming Kit and related accessory kits to determine optimal design and provision options. Through a series of poll questions and open chat discussions, we ll collectively identify and discuss components most frequently used, consider pieces that need some polishing or pruning, and brainstorm items that are still needed. APH is very interested in how Picture Maker is meeting the needs of students/adults with visual impairments and blindness. Instructor: Karen J. All active users of Picture Maker. Pre-requisite knowledge: Preferred: Previous/current experience using APH s Picture Maker Kit and related accessories directly with students/adults for orientation and mobility instruction, as well as concept development in a variety of areas (tactile literacy, math, science, art, etc.). Lesson Plan Goal: Actively participate in providing APH feedback regarding the current design of Picture Maker: Wheatley Tactile Diagramming Kit and related accessory packages. Learning Objectives: Participants will be able to describe the current design, components, and provision style of Picture Maker: Wheatley Tactile Diagramming Kit and related accessory kits. Participants will discuss how Picture Maker can be used for the instruction of multiple concepts beyond those specific to orientation and mobility. Participants will formulate direct feedback about Picture Maker s current design via multiple polling questions and open discussion via Zoom s Chat channel.
