Description of CE Program/Activity
VoiceOver on an iPhone has been a popular method of access for many years, many users also include accessories to utilize the operating system (iOS) more comfortably. Consumers who use speech, individuals who use a Mantis q40 and for those who prefer typing on a QWERTY keyboard instead of a braille one, Bluetooth keyboards often assist them in using their iOS Device more efficiently. This 9 hour course is intended for trainers who work with the blind and/or DeafBlind population who are at least intermediate trainers using the screen reader VoiceOver. Specific settings for working with certain types of the population, navigating the operating system, VoiceOver concepts related to Bluetooth keyboard access, and using specific applications will be covered.
