 Available Online - This course will be offered as a small group training course by the BRS National Program Office. As VIST Coordinators are hired and awaiting the more in-depth training to be offered, the Crash Cart course will be used to meet training needs. The course may also be offered via one-to-one training, if deemed appropriate by the National Program Consultant.

Description of CE Program/Activity
 The VIST Crash Cart course will review the roles and responsibilities of a Visual Impairment Services Team (VIST) Coordinator. Content will include a review of the Functional Statement, performance standards, clinical setup, VIST assessment, annual review, documentation and coding. VHA Directive 1174 will also be reviewed to ensure appropriate program management.
