This Second session provides instructional strategies and practices specific to the education of students with dual sensory loss. The second session continues from the first session and addresses communication, additional topics and finishing the student profile. The target audiences for this course is the educational team of a student with a combined vision and hearing loss (dual sensory loss), the student's parent(s), teachers, early interventionists classroom paraprofessionals, therapists, Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Interpreters and Interpreting students .Course is taught by Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Teachers of the Deaf, Teacher of the Deafblind, Deaf-Blind Endorsees, Speech and Language Pathologist, and guest local and national speakers. You must have attended session 1, keep camera on, and plan to be engaged! |
