This second of two sessions will focus on evaluations of students who are visually impaired with the suspicion of an additional disability such as a specific learning disability or intellectual disability. Dr. Loftin will discuss the frequency other disabilities are found to be co-morbid with a visual impairment as well as how to analyze your data appropriately when determining if the visual impairment is a contributory versus primary reason for learning difficulties.VI teachers, educational diagnosticians, and LSSPs are encouraged to attend as a team if possible. |
