The Minnesota DeafBlind Project and Northeast Metro Intermediate School District 916 are co-sponsoring a workshop designed to provide participants with information about deafblindness and the role of the intervener. This interactive workshop will explain the impact of combined hearing and vision loss on communication, cognition, learning and social/emotional development on children s development. The role of the intervener in educational settings will be outlined, and the importance of collaboration with team members will be discussed. |
