Description of CE Program/Activity
Portland State University's newly launched orientation and mobility program will provide examples of instructional artifacts from O&M student practicum ePortfolios that represent growing competencies in designing motivating instruction for diverse learners. Data-based decisions on the use of instructional approaches and the incorporation of mentor feedback will be shared. Learning objectives: Participants will gain an understanding of the value of reflective practice that aligns with recognized knowledge and skills competencies through the use of ePortfolios. Participants will be able to describe the use of ePortfolios as a formal part of the preparation process. Participants will learn about practical approaches to design instructional materials and interventions based on student data and systematic mentor coaching.
