Learning objectives - Participants will identify: 1) The difference between an emergency and a disaster 2) Ways to communicate between the individual who is deaf-blind and those around them 3) Types of alerting systems for individuals who are deaf-blind 4) Expectations of independence for individuals who are deaf-blind following an emergency. |
