Managing from the Middle recognizes the best part of a sandwich...the middle! This is where the work gets done, where relationships are made and sustained, and where the 'real' impact is felt by those depending on us. While the first three sessions focused on Competencies, Communication and Connection, this fourth and final session in the series will focus on Collaboration, relying on yet another "C," our Capabilities, to affect the potential for success and change in a variety of circumstances. Collaboration is an experience that is felt by the other. Developing it within your team (or your family!) is both a skill and a capability...and within reach! Participants will be able to: 1) Define three skill areas which contribute to productive collaborative relationships 2) Identify current or past collaborations which were dysfunctional or ineffective, and why 3) Identify healthy collaborations within their professional networks, and why they are working 4) Recognize personal strengths in establishing collaborative relationships in work or home environments. |
