Description of CE Program/Activity

Psychologists, speech language pathologists, and other evaluators may have little to no experience with children with visual impairments, let alone knowledge of how a TVI may be helpful in conducting assessments. This webinar seeks to demystify the role a TVI plays as well as provide psychologists and other examiners with important considerations when conducting these evaluations.Instructor: Terese Pawletko, Ph.D.Instructor s Title: Licensed Psychologist, Certified School PsychologistInstructor s Affiliation: Private Practice/ConsultantInstructor: Carol Evans, Ph.D.Instructor s Title: Certified School Psychologist, Teacher of the Visually ImpairedInstructor s Affiliation: Retired School Psychologist; Consultant TVISP - University of UtahPrimary Core or ECC Area: Psychoeducational AssessmentTarget Audience: Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Psychologists, ParentsLesson Plan Goal: To develop an understanding of the concept of collaborative assessment for children with visual impairments.Learning Objectives: 1.
