Description of CE Program/Activity
The ability to track student development is key when making program and service provision decisions. The purpose of this study was to evaluate longitudinal communication development of students who were DB using the Communication Matrix (CM). This presentation will present the results and discuss implications for educational teams and intervention. Learning objectives: 1. Participants will understand the basics of communication development. 2. Participants will understand the value of using the Communication Matrix to measure communication development over time of students who are DB. 3. Participants will understand the outcomes of the study (e.g., slow rate of communication development, stagnated development).
