Description of CE Program/Activity
Training and supporting qualified personnel about best practices in educating students who are deaf-blind (DB) has historically been difficult. The National Center on Deaf-Blindness (NCDB) offers resources that will be shared in this session, including a discussion guide for IEP teams to consider interveners and training materials for qualified personnel. Learning Objectives 1. Participants will identify the service delivery model for interveners and teachers of students with deaf-blindness that would best meet the needs in their state. 2. Participants will identify opportunities in their work that would lead to collaboration with the Deaf-Blind TA Network. 3. Participants will have resources that they can use in their work with their districts.
