Description of CE Program/Activity
 The Center for Inclusive Design and Innovation (CIDI) at Georgia Tech will provide training through a series of four interactive zoom sessions on creating and producing high-quality braille graphics. The interactive training experience will introduce participants to the basics of planning, creating and producing varying complexity levels of tactile graphics from simple to complex. The training sessions will focus on utilizing Microsoft Word Software and ViewPlus Braille Embossers powered by the Tiger Software Suite to create tactile graphics from start to finish.Objectives: Session 1: Introducing to planning and creating tactile graphics Decision tree and simplifying complex images Setting up template margins, braille font, etcSession 2: Introduction to tactile graphics in Microsoft Word Locating and utilizing features in MS Word to create graphics Introduction to the tools in MS Word Using a text box ASCII keyboard chart Keyboard shortcuts for frequently used toolsSession 3: Graphic tools in Microsoft Word Introduction to ViewPlus Tiger Graphic Suite and braille embossers Learn to manipulate line strengths, fill in textures, make point textures, and create white spaceSession 4: Creating Simple and Complex Graphics Using the snipping tool Creating simple graphics utilizing MS Word Creating complex graphics utilizing MS Word
