Description of CE Program/Activity
In this 2-part webinar, Dr. Karen Blankenship will discuss the foundational rationale for completing the FVLMA and the ECC screening and assessment to provide quality programming for students with visual impairments. In addition, during these unprecedented times we will discuss what is possible to complete virtually and what we need to do during a face-to-face meeting.Dr. Blankenship has researched the legal underpinnings of conducting quality assessments and has spent the last ten years creating and tweaking resources and supports for teachers of students who are blind and visually impaired (TVIs) to help them work smarter, not harder.
