Many high school students are academically ready for college, but not mobility ready. This presentation will review the different O&M skills needed for a successful college experience. High school students, families, COMS, and TVIs are welcome to attend to support students in preparing them for this next step in their education. Different O&M skills, such as wayfinding, transportation, and pedestrian routes will be reviewed. An O&M checklist will be reviewed based on different college campuses, locations, and environments. Following the presentation, questions will be taken, as time allows. This live event is available for ACVREP credits. Participants must attend the full event to receive credits. |
