This Make-N-Take session will focus on individualized literacy adaptations, and participants will design and create an experience book or routine book for their child with CVI. As CVI intervention approaches are unique to each Phase and individualized for each child, the session will be preceded by an overview of intervention approaches by Phase & Characteristic. Families may consider developing a book for their child based on the following:Option 1: Experience book: Tells the story of a specific meaningful experience, such as a trip to the park or a visit to grandmas houseOption 2: Routines book: Reviews a sequence in a common, meaningful routine, such as bath time or morning routine |
