Description of CE Program/Activity
 Social determinants are defined by the World Health Organization as the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work, and age. In this course Dr. Pricilla Rogers looks at these social determinants and how these factors impact the prevalence of vision loss. Discussion focuses on how individuals with vision impairment or blindness are at greater risk for additional health impairments and considers strategies for how service providers can ease the effects of social determinants.
