The sensory learning kit is full of materials designed to promote learning opportunities for students working at a sensorimotor level of development. Participants in this session will explore the variety of materials contained in the kit and plan ways the kit items can be utilized in the classroom during lessons and routines to enhance and encourage student participation and independence. This session is applicable to special education teachers, teachers of students with visual impairments, and orientation & mobility specialists. |
