While prism is unique in its ability to alter the path that light travels, it is sometimes underutilized in low vision patient management. This course reviews basic prism optics, as well as clinical applications and cases incorporating prism for low vision patients. Prism use for double vision, macular disease, and non-hemianopic peripheral visual field constriction will be discussed. Attendees should leave this course feeling more confident incorporating prism during low vision patient management.Instruction Level: IntermediateLearning Objectives: 1.
