This course covers inherited retinal disease and reviews the difference between the autosomal recessive, autosomal dominant, and X-linked patterns of inheritance. Clinical features of several common inherited diseases will be explored along with appropriate gene therapy and other treatment regimes.Instruction Level: IntermediateLearning Objectives: 1. Define the implications of each in terms of the risk to future generations. 3. Describe the types of gene therapy treatments that may be appropriate for each. 4.
