 Course DescriptionBecause the acquisition of mathematical skills can be more difficult for students with VI due to abstract nature of many math concepts, it is essential for students to be exposed to the use of multiple mathematics strategies and tools. Enroll in this course and explore a variety of adapted mathematical tools and their use.Objectives Identify adapted mathematic tools for use with individuals with visual impairments. Differentiate adapted tools paired with various mathematic concepts. Describe techniques for modifying instructional methods in mathematics for individuals with visual impairments.
