This course is based on findings from a research project focusing on job search skills for transition-age youth. The project involved developing a job search skills training program called Putting Your Best Foot Forward and conducting a study to test its effectiveness for youth who are blind or have low vision. This course provides an overview of the Putting Your Best Foot Forward program, short-term and long-term outcomes, feedback from service providers and youth who took part in the study, and implications for provision of work experiences and job search skills training. |
