Is your student eligible for vision services?On July 1, 2019 Missouris State Regulations Implementing Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) changed the definition and criteria for determination of eligibility as a student with a visual impairment. Students will have access to several new game-changing products, designed to improve school, college, work, and overall life success.The Library Media Center (LMC) at the Missouri School for the Blind (MSB) is more than a place to check out books. While the LMC does indeed have more than 30,000 braille, talking books, large print and regular print books and magazines for loan it also provides access to the latest in adaptive technology through its partnership with the Missouri Instructional Resource Center. The LMC also houses a Professional Development Library with a wide variety of print, digital, and audio-visual resources.
