Description of CE Program/Activity
 Join Salus University and Penn State Abington for an evening of engaging discussion on the topic of employment and vocational rehabilitation of individuals who are visually impaired. Panelists include key stakeholders, such as employees, vocational rehabilitation counselors, blindness and low vision practitioners, transition coordinators, and parents.Participants to the event will be able to:1- Identify three successes related to the employment of individuals who are visually impaired2- Identify three challenges related to the employment of individuals who are visually impaired3- Describe three ways in which the panelists have supported the successful employment of individuals who are visually impaired.Audience: Low Vision Therapists, Vision Rehabilitation Specialists, Orientation and Mobility Specialists, Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Assistive Technology Specialists, Employers, Transition Specialists, Rehabilitation Counselors, Parents of Transition-aged Youth
