Executive Functioning (EF) is a critical skill set, with big implications for students as they move to a self-determined, independent life. These skills include working memory, emotional control, task initiation, organization, time management, flexibility, metacognition, and stress tolerance. Students with vision loss have reduced opportunities to learn these skills; we will explore how to integrate them everyday, creating opportunities for students to practice, preparing for independence after high school. |
