Attendees will learn about the common characteristics of CHARGE syndrome, educational needs or students with CHARGE, and methods of addressing these educational needs at school. Attendees will learn about the Educational Checklist for Students with CHARGE Syndrome (referred to as Educational Checklist for short), which is a tool that was developed to educate school professionals about CHARGE and provide recommendations for best practices in the schools. Attendees will learn about specific strategies different professionals can utilize to best support students with CHARGE, and how professionals can work together to provide comprehensive supports. |
