Description of CE Program/Activity
 This webinar will focus on using the Braille Trail Reader LE from APH. The webinar will include a review of the device and its benefits to emerging braille readers and their teachers. It will demonstrate downloading and installing the Braille Trail File Transfer Software, connecting the device to the PC and ensuring that it is recognized, and then preparing and transferring the file to the Braille Trail. Finally, it will cover locating, opening, and reading the transferred file. The participants will review the download and installation process of the Braille Trail File Transfer software. The participant will identify the four steps to transfer a file from a PC to the Braille Trail The participant will be able to identify the two file types supported by the software and the Braille Trail. The participant will be able to locate, open, and read the file they have transferred to the Braille Trail. The participant will identify at least three benefits of using the thumb keys to teach braille to emerging braille readers. The participant will identify at least three benefits of using the input keys to teach braille to emerging braille readers.
