Making classroom observations and viewing content on a blackboard can present significant challenges for students with low-vision. The Matt Connect is a compact all-in-one magnifier, distance viewer, and educational Android tablet. Distance features built into MATT Connect include split-screen, image capture, and pinch to zoom. This webinar will address how students can use this device in a classroom to participate in distance activities.The participant will identify at least 2 distance viewing tasks that can be completed with the MATT Connect distance camera. The participant will identify at least 3 types of reading materials that can be viewed in split screen mode with the MATT Connect. The participant will learn at least 3 gestures for using the split screen function of the MATT Connect. The participant will review at least 3 trouble shooting tips for working with the distance camera. |
