Description of CE Program/Activity
 This class will provide an overview of Personal Futures Planning and how to apply it with individuals who are deaf-blind with intellectual disabilities. The process of discovering opportunities and capacities for the focus person is discussed. Three examples of sections of an individuals personal futures plans are presented. How to have the team discover and document preferences and then successfully translate them into meaningful vocational and leisure experiences are delivered. Components of a functional program are explained. Short video clips are included to help illustrate the application of Personal Futures Planning.
