Description of CE Program/Activity
 In the last few years, various laws, guidelines and regulations have increased the accessibility and availability of apps, products and services that are essential to the independence of people who are blind or visually impaired. In celebration of Global Accessibility Awareness day, seven personal success stories will highlight the importance of these regulations in everyday life situations.The lesson goal is to celebrate Global Accessibility Awareness Day, by sharing information on the guidelines, laws and regulations that are positively affecting the lives of people who are blind or visually impaired around the world.LEARNING OBJECTIVES:Participants will understand which specific laws, guidelines and regulations affect the availability of accessible apps, products and services.Participants will learn how assistive technology can be used in real-life situations. Situations include trip planning, shopping, entertainment, nutrition, travel, house cleaning and more.Participants will leave the webinar with a list of resources they can incorporate into daily life activities, including work, social and family situations.
