The presentation will encourage participants to join in a group discussion about with whom, why, and how tactile books are made. Discuss different types of tactile books and what type of tactile books the attendants have made and how they were used. Examples of different books will be shown physically and in a power point.Participants will:1. Discuss reasons why and how tactile books are made and with whom they would be used with.2. The participants will learn about different types of tactile books. (Examples: object, experience, routine, stories, concept, and themes)3. The attendants will participate in discussing what types of tactile books they have made and how they have used them.4. The participants will learn how incorporating multiple senses will support and expand language skills. |
