This training focuses on the legal requirements IEP teams must meet when writing present levels of performance and annual goals. It reviews the consequences that may occur when these sections are inadequately prepared and provides guiding prompts and formats to support staff in writing comprehensive present levels of performance and SMART goals. Additional Training:The Pen Friend is a tool that can be used for a variety of purposes. It can be used to label materials (medications, appliances). It can also be used to record information on a label that can be placed on a Braille book tactile graphic, providing additional information. We will discuss how this tool can be useful for pre-K through high school and beyond.The purpose of the Creative station is to creat materials that students can use for labeling, tactile art, or graphics. The Creative has both adhesive and magnetic cartriages that can be adhered to textured paper and/or fabric materials for the students to use for a variety of purposes. We will discuss how this device can be used for little ones, high school and beyond. |
