 The BRC s of West Palm and West Haven are excited to offer this joint hosting partnership to bring our expertise and experience to the VIST and BROS within our region. Due to travel restrictions, we have now moved to an all virtual training experience! In developing our topics, we looked to offer share information reflected in our FY 20 goals such as using virtual treatments and emerging technologies while expanding adaptive sports opportunities. It is the goals of each presentation to offer strategies for growth to meet the overall VHA objective for developing a High Reliability Organization. We hope you will join us and participate in this adventure! You may register for one session or all seven. Please complete the attached registration form and return it by email before April 10th. We are in the process of applying for CEU credits, but these are not yet confirmed.

Description of CE Program/Activity
 The BRS National Program Office has requested all BRS professionals VIST, BROS, BRC VISOR, ALVC, ILVC clinics with BRS specialists to develop and complete the following Veteran Service growth strategies in FY20. These priorities include: 1. Virtual Treatment Modalities2. Adaptive Sports3. Emerging TechnologyBlind Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist and Vision Impairment Services Team Coordinators are expected to demonstrate updated metrics annually to meet the overall Blind Rehabilitation Services National standards for effective Evidence based patient care plans for skill training of all Veterans with Vision Loss and thief caregivers. BRS professionals are expected to demonstrate competencies and increases annual metrics within the three primary target areas of Emerging Technologies, Adaptive Sports and Virtual Treatment Modalities.
