Main Street, Concord, NH 03301Presenters: Diane Brauner and Ed SummersThis 2-day workshop will train teachers to help elementary and middle school students develop foundational charting and graphic skills.For elementary school students, teachers will learn to use manipulatives and fun, hands-on activities to teach basic grid and chart concepts, building students tech skills to access digital tables, charts, and graphs.For middle school students, educators will be trained to help students use a screen reader to successfully navigate digital tables and various types of charts and graphs. Participants will learn how to help their students explore and analyze bar charts, pie charts, line charts, time series plots, histograms, box plots, scatter plots and bubble charts. * Parking available in the Capital Commons Garage (.50 per hour) |
