Description of CE Program/Activity
GuideConnect is a talking digital assistant application for windows computer that brings a person closer to family and friends. It helps one manage their everyday life and have fun. Simple internet access makes it easy to find information, be entertained and stay up-to-date with what s happening in the world. GuideConnect is thoughtfully designed by and for people with sight loss, enabling you to enlarge the text or have it read. There are straightforward menus and lots of help. Learning Objectives:At the conclusion of this CE activity the participant will be able to:1.Understand the overall layout of the software program.2.Identify each function of the program and how it may be able to benefit your clients.3.Effectively navigate the software program via keyboard commands and finger gestures.4.Provide an alternative communication device for clients.
