 Allied Instructional Services is hosting a training/workshop for TVI's and Orientation and Mobility Instructors who work with children in a school setting. ***Seating is limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis.*** ACVREP points and/or professional development credits/points will be available for participants. Description of CE Program/Activity
 Friday, December 13, 2019, 9:00AM-3:00PM (snacks will be provided, lunch on your own)Orientation and Mobility Evaluations- we will discuss the functional vision portion of an O&M evaluation, The New Mexico Inventory, TAPS, and resources for alternative assessments.*Participants will be given a starter O&M assessment kit (total value $50), which is included in the registration cost. Saturday, December 14, 2019, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM (snacks will be provided, lunch on your own).Functional Vision Learning Media Assessment- we will discuss the Functional Vision assessment, the Learning Media Assessment, and resources for alternative assessments. *Participants will be given a starter FVALMA kit (total value $50), which is included in the registration cost.**Note: if attending both days, you will receive (1) assessment/evaluation starter kit.
