Description of CE Program/Activity
 Workshop Description:This workshop will be used to help participants incorporate the principles from high phase II to Phase III CVI using meaningful, child-centered constructs. The constructs will be aligned with age-appropriate areas of curriculum for learners at all levels. Participants will practice aligning a child s interest with areas of the curriculum creating access to the curriculum. Participants will have the opportunity to create an adaptive product that supports literacy and access to the general curriculum for a child on their caseloadWorkshop Prerequisites: Participants must have a working knowledge of Phase I, II, III of the CVI RangeParticipants will be preparing a product for an individual learner and therefore should come with a particular learner in mind. Participants will need to bring a laptop or iPad to create a PowerPoint presentation Learning objectives: Participants will: Identify the important principles of learners in mid-Phase II to Phase III Use salient features and comparative language in topics of student interest and curricular areas Align student interests with areas of curriculum Identify point of access to the curriculum for all learners
