Description of CE Program/Activity
 Training-Staff Professional DevelopmentLength of Training: 1-day each locationAnticipated Outcomes by Agency:At the end of this training, participants will increase their ability to:1. Identify strategies used to identify consumers who are deaf-blind.2. Identify and list causes/etiologies of combined vision and hearing loss.3.Assess senior participants who have combined vision and hearing loss.4. Assess support service needs of participants including the best mode of communication, access to technologies, and for maintaining safety and independence.5. List coping and communication strategies that enhance communication in one-on-one settings.
