Description of CE Program/Activity
OAER encompasses a diverse group including Teachers of the Visually Impaired, Rehabilitation Teachers and Counselors, Orientation & Mobility Specialists, individuals with disabilities, family members, and retired professionals. While our backgrounds are varied, we have much in common; we all strive to enhance and improve the lives of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. At work, school, and home, we all benefit when we are able to find balance. Whether the topic is advances in treatment, education, and rehabilitation for individuals with various eye conditions, or expanding opportunities for employment and enjoyment of life, all presentations at the OAER Annual Conference will share a vision for balance.
