This training for teachers of students with visual impairments (TVIs) and certified orientation and mobility specialists (COMS) provides an exciting opportunity to receive intensive hands-on training in Assistive Technology, and Independent Living Skills strategies and resources for students who are blind/visually impaired. Participants will deepen their knowledge across a wide range of disability specific content to plan and deliver instruction for post-secondary application. Additionally, participants will have multiple opportunities to observe students at The Summer Academy for Students who are Blind or Visually Impaired in these, as well as other related ECC areas, to see these instructional strategies in practice. |
