Software developer and entrepreneur Marty Schultz demonstrates electronic game applications to teach skill areas of the Expanded Core Curriculum. His company Objective Ed builds on groundwork laid by the award-winning work of Blindfold Games. Specific games designed by Objective Ed will be demonstrated in the context of ECC skills.Using hand-held games matched to their abilities, students learn and practice assistive technology, orientation and mobility, social development, problem-solving and other skills. Closed-loop curriculum games also evaluate and document student progress, so they can be incorporated into IEP goals. |
