Our last Statewide Vision Community of Practice meeting will be on April 7th, 2019 at Charting the Cs in the Osakis room from 5-7pm. It will be a time to share What has worked Well with Students . The statewide CoP regional planners are asking YOU to present on products or apps that you have used with students.We will start with a conference sharing time, where TBVI and COMS will have an opportunity to provide highlights and take-aways from conferences you have attended. (Please include the conference name when you sign up!)Next, we will have an App / Product Smackdown with a fast paced explanation which includes the following: Product description (bring the device or app title with you) Age of student Setting Content area (math, science, braille, etc.) What worked What didn t work Asking the audience for any additional feedbackPlease include a print version of the information above to share with TBVI and COMS who are not able to attend in person. (This meeting will not be broadcast remotely.)Afterward, TBVI and COMS will have an opportunity to dig in a little deeper with extended time to roam the room and explore / try the devices or apps that peaked your interest.This would be an excellent opportunity to demonstrate APH products like the Joy Player and BrailleBuzz! |
